NBC Sports Continues Figure Skating Coverage with Grand Prix China This Weekend

NBC Sports: This weekend, NBC Sports Group presents 16 hours of coverage of Grand Prix China from Beijing, the third event in the 2017 International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series, including 14.5 hours of live coverage on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

NBC presents coverage of the event this Sunday, November 5, at 4:30 pm ET. Andrea Joyce handles play-by-play on NBC, joined by 1998 Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski and three-time U.S. champion Johnny Weir.

The men’s field features three American participants, highlighted by 2017 world junior figure skating champion Vincent Zhou, who makes his senior Grand Prix debut. Russia’s Alina Zagitova, the 2017 world junior champion, and 2017 world bronze medalist Gabby Daleman of Canada headline the women’s field. Three U.S. ice dance teams will compete in Beijing, including two-time world medalists Madison Chock and Evan Bates.

Cup of China coverage will be preceded by Skate Canada on NBC at 3:30 pm ET, with commentary by Johnny Weir, Tara Lipinski, and Terry Gannon.
